Our casement window lock is most suitable for use with aluminium window frames. The lock itself attaches to the opening leaf of the window and when the window is closed, the bracket (which you can see on the left-hand side of the picture) flips over the lock and can then be screwed into place with the key.
As this lock is designed for metal-framed windows, it may be difficult to fit. For those who don’t have a drill to hand or who don’t feel confident drilling into their window frames, we offer a full fitting service with this product when chosen with ‘supply and fit’. A member of our highly trained team in your area will come to your home at a convenient time and fit the casement lock for you. They’ll also ensure you understand how it works before marking the job as complete.
The Yale casement window lock is supplied with fixing screws, one key and one drill bit for ease of installation. The lock itself is around 5cm long and 1.5cm wide.
